Filling a Special Need
Holy
Family Adult Day Centers (HFADC) fills a special need in
our community for adults whose lives have been challenged by illness,
dementia, injuries or the frailties wrought by the passage of time.
We provide a secure, caring environment for elderly and impaired
adults to go for rehabilitation services, nursing care, health monitoring
and a chance to socialize. By stimulating their minds, strengthening
their bodies, nurturing their spirits and respecting their dignity,
we help participants to achieve their maximum abilities. We celebrate
improvements -- and are there to offer support and help when a participant's
physical or mental abilities become diminished.
HFADC allows caregivers to have time to
themselves, or to continue their employment without worrying about
constant interruptions in the workplace.
HFADC is part of a continuum of care known
as Providence Health Care, which includes Sacred
Heart Medical Center, Holy
Family Hospital, St.
Joseph Care Center, Dominicare,
Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories, VNA
Home Health Care Services, Emilie
Court Assisted Living, and health and human service ministries
in Deer Park, Chewelah and Colville.
